"Yet I love this about Christian spirituality.  It cannot be explained, and yet it is beautiful and true.  It is something you feel and it comes from the soul."

Okay Okay...so people do read this thing.  Forgive me, I was mistaken.  It's so nice to know people care...even though my words mean absolutely nothing.  I mean sometimes I tend to ramble..I have like word vomit..and I feel like I should say something..anything really...but yeah, ok, anywayz.....

I'm back at school again!!!  I love it so much.  It's already been an AMAZING week.  My roommate that I was assigned got other living arrangements..so I'm living alone.  It's absolutely fabulous!  Nothing could be better than this I think.  Yeah, I don't think my classes are gonna be that bad.  I'm pretty sure I only have two papers all year.   So life is SOO good right now.  God is faithful!

Hey, Katie and Chassidy...does ETBU get Labor Day off this year?? (yet another wonderfully random statement )

Right...well....thanks for the love.  I'm gonna leave you with my favorite quote of the moment.  It's from Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller.
"Sometimes you have to watch somebody love something before you can love it yourself.  It is as if they are showing you the way."

It's a good book.

Welp......it's Thursday night and I move in Saturday.  And I haven't even started packing.  Yep....that's me.  Captain Procastinator at your service.  I don't even have all the stuff I need to move in.  What are you gonna do?  I guess what I'm doing...which is sitting and watching meaningless television.  Can I just say that I'm really excited about moving in though.  I'm really ready to get back.  Although I haven't really seen anyone since I left in May.  It'll be like making friends all over again.  That's the most awkward time ever...making new friends.  Like the getting to know you part with all the awkward silences.....maybe that's just me.  haha....whatever.  I'm ready to move back.  I'm ready to see my friends again.

No one actually reads this thing.  But it is kinda cathartic writing about it.

Wow, it's been a long time since I've used this thing.  I'm surprised Xanga didn't give up on me.  I don't even know if anybody reads this thing anymore.  Welp, anyways, just thought I would share some of the stuff that I've learned this summer.

1. Having one MILLION paper cuts on EACH hand will not kill you; but it does sting real bad when you shampoo your hair

2.  Caps are quite possibly the best invention ever made

3.  It is possible to make a band-aid out of paper towel and rubber bands.  Just don't leave them on for too long, cuz you start to lose circulation.

4.  Four dollar movie theaters are amazing.  They let you see pretty much every movie that came out this summer....

5.  I have a little more will power than I thought I did.

6.  Friends are really good things.  They give you energy when you think you have none left at all.

7.  God is good.

So is it sad that I only learned SEVEN things this summer?  Nah, didn't think so!

you know...actually.....I kinda missed xanga....

So far Summer has meant catching up with some amazing friends that I missed terribly and am glad to be back with.  Missing some from DBU.  And a MASSIVE amount of cleaning as I try to put away all my home-from-college crap.  Summer also means incredibly slow internet....so don't expect much from me!   It's gonna be a A-freakin-MAZING summer!
